Boyfriend arrived last night. So glad he's here, but now I'm obsessesed with chest of drawers. Got to get them. Can't have space cluttered. Need clear head. Clear head equals good grades. Have to be bravissima. Proved to myself that I am pretty clever when I managed to transcribe Cold Turkey (or whatever the hell it's called) from F major into Bb major... It's all Greek to some people... mind you joinery is all Greek to me... there I go again obsessing about drawers... right then Ebay!
Aww I'm in nested bliss while BF's watching the footie (I wonder how long that will last). However, I'm not quite sure why I got so upset when he said that he'd left his underpants behind, think of the reduced weekly wash! ew

Voluntary Exit of Comfort Zone
Brighton Beach
I nearly asked some guys practising their skate boarding techniques on the promenade to teach me some tricks, but I chickened out. It wouldn't have bothered some people... so what is it that gives people that little bit of courage to throw themselves in and go up to a stranger? To me it's a hideous thought... rejection. What is it that makes people voluntarily exit their comfort zones? Why do some people prefer to stay in them and some people prefer to get out of them? Is it possible to call myself an artist if I approach my comfort zone kicking and screaming or can art exist within it's luxurious boundaries?
